IV Sterile Compounding Clinical Pharmacist in Media, PA

A specialty compounding pharmacy is seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to ensure the accuracy, quality, and safety of compounded sterile and non-sterile preparations. This is a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity located in Kennett Square, PA.

Responsibilities:

• Compound sterile and non-sterile preparations accurately in compliance with master formula worksheets.
• Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies for compounding.
• Ensure compliance with USP guidelines and all relevant state and federal regulations.
• Perform cleaning and garbing procedures according to policies.
• Conduct calculations and maintain thorough documentation.
• Operate production and technical equipment precisely, maintaining quality standards.
• Apply correct aseptic techniques and prepare work areas prior to production.
• Conduct quality control tests and inspections to guarantee medication purity, potency, and quality.
• Stay current with new compounding methods, formulations, and technologies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to compounding pharmacy practices.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.
• Recent pharmacy experience with a focus on sterile compounding.
• Proficiency in sterile compounding procedures is required.
• New pharmacy graduates with compounding experience are encouraged to apply.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 am 4:30 pm or 9:00 am 5:30 pm
  • Alternate shift: 10:30 am 7:00 pm (may be assigned)
