Home Infusion Pharmacist - Urgent Need - Arkansas

RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to support a Home Infusion team in Jonesboro, Arkansas. This 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity offers a steady weekday schedule, weekly pay, and long-term career potential.

Position Details:

Location: Jonesboro, AR
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Day Shift, MondayFriday
Setting: Home Infusion Pharmacy
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescription orders for infusion therapies to ensure accuracy, safety, and clinical appropriateness.
• Oversee sterile compounding operations and verify compounded medications in compliance with USP <797> and USP <800> standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide clinical support, therapy recommendations, and patient counseling.
• Monitor patient therapies, review laboratory values as needed, and document pharmacist interventions.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation requirements related to home infusion pharmacy services.

Requirements:

• Active and clear Arkansas Pharmacist license.
• Recent home infusion, infusion center, hospital IV, or sterile compounding experience.
• Strong knowledge of USP <797> and USP <800> regulations.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
