Clinical Pharmacist in Pomona, MO

A challenging opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to manage and operate an inpatient pharmacy with autonomy and responsibility. The role requires filling and dispensing medications, performing final verifications, and handling immediate use compounding outside of the clean room environment. The position offers a unique overnight schedule with a 7 on, 7 off rotation, ensuring a balanced work-life rhythm.

Location: West Plains, Missouri (near Pomona, MO)
Job Type: Contract (open to Contract, Contract to Hire, or Travel options)
Start Date: ASAP

Schedule/Hours:

• 7 on, 7 off overnight schedule
• Weekdays: 7:30 PM 5:30 AM
• Weekends: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Conduct final verifications on all dispensed medications
• Perform immediate use compounding outside the clean room
• Manage pharmacy operations independently, taking ownership of daily workflow and processes

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Missouri Pharmacist license required
• Recent inpatient pharmacy experience highly preferred
• Demonstrated recent compounding experience required
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic health record system is a must
• New graduates with recent inpatient rotations are encouraged to apply
