Inpatient Pharmacist - Direct Hire (Relocation) - Lamar, CO

RPh on the Go is assisting a Medical Center in Colorado in hiring a Clinical Pharmacist. This is a Direct Hire role, there is no initial contract period! Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate. 

Position Details:

Location: Lamar CO
Setting:  Inpatient Pharmacy
Schedule: Full Time; MondayFriday, Day Shift (8:00am-5:00pm)

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, dosing, and potential drug interactions in accordance with hospital policies and clinical guidelines.
• Prepare and oversee sterile IV admixtures, including antibiotics, electrolytes, parenteral nutrition (TPN), and other compounded medications in compliance with USP <797> standards.
• Monitor patient medication therapies and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes and provide clinical recommendations.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support daily pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, IV workflow oversight, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Active CO Pharmacist License (or ability to obtain if licensed in another state)
• Recent inpatient Pharmacist experience
• Recent Sterile compounding experience
