Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Technician Wisconsin

RPh on the Go is hiring an experienced Inpatient Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week hospital assignment in Wisconsin. This is an excellent opportunity for technicians with sterile compounding experience seeking a stable schedule, competitive weekly pay, and hands-on experience in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Position Details:

• Location: Wisconsin
• Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
• Start Date: August 2026
• Setting: Inpatient Hospital
• Automation System: Pyxis

Schedule:

• Monday Friday
• 8-hour or 10-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Every 4th weekend: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Restock and maintain Pyxis medication cabinets throughout the facility.
• Perform medication, IV, and supply replenishment while ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Prepare sterile compounded medications and assist with chemotherapy preparation in accordance with USP standards.
• Monitor and document pharmacy and medication storage temperatures.
• Process medication charges and maintain accurate records within the hospital system.
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming pharmaceutical shipments.
• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the cleanroom and sterile compounding areas.
• Support pharmacists and hospital staff with additional pharmacy duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license.
• Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
• Recent sterile compounding experience required.
• Experience using Pyxis automation systems.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
