Travel Overnight Pharmacist 7 On / 7 Off West Plains, Missouri

RPh on the Go is seeking a qualified Overnight Pharmacist to support an inpatient pharmacy in West Plains, Missouri. This position offers a consistent 7-on/7-off overnight schedule and the flexibility to pursue a Contract, Contract-to-Hire, or Travel assignment based on your career goals and availability.

Position Details

• Location: West Plains, MO
• Setting: Inpatient Pharmacy
• Assignment Type: Contract, Contract-to-Hire, or Travel
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off

Schedule

• Wednesday through Tuesday
• Weekdays: 7:30 PM 5:30 AM
• Weekends: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Review, fill, and dispense medications in accordance with established pharmacy procedures
• Perform final verification of medication orders
• Perform immediate-use compounding; cleanroom compounding is not required
• Oversee overnight pharmacy operations and ensure appropriate workflow throughout the shift
• Manage medication distribution and pharmacy responsibilities independently during overnight hours
• Collaborate with inpatient clinical staff to support safe and timely medication therapy
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Missouri Pharmacist license
• Recent compounding experience
• Previous inpatient pharmacy experience
• Recent Meditech experience is required
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage overnight pharmacy operations
• New graduates may be considered with recent inpatient pharmacy rotation experience and the required Meditech and compounding background
