RPh on the Go is currently seeking a qualified Overnight Pharmacist to join an inpatient pharmacy team in West Plains, Missouri. This opportunity offers a consistent 7-on/7-off schedule, overnight hours, and flexibility with Contract, Contract-to-Hire, or Travel assignment options.

Position Overview

  • Location: West Plains, MO
  • Facility Type: Inpatient Pharmacy
  • Assignment Options: Contract, Contract-to-Hire, or Travel
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off

Schedule

  • Wednesday through Tuesday
  • Weekday Shifts: 7:30 PM 5:30 AM
  • Weekend Shifts: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, fill, and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
  • Perform final verification of medication orders
  • Perform immediate-use compounding; cleanroom compounding is not required
  • Oversee overnight pharmacy operations and maintain an efficient workflow
  • Independently manage pharmacy operations and medication distribution during overnight hours
  • Collaborate with inpatient healthcare professionals to support safe and timely medication therapy
  • Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory standards

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Missouri Pharmacist license
  • Recent compounding experience
  • Previous inpatient pharmacy experience
  • Recent Meditech experience required
  • Ability to work independently and effectively oversee overnight pharmacy operations
  • New graduates may be considered with recent inpatient pharmacy rotation experience, provided all other required qualifications are met
