IV Sterile Compounding Clinical Pharmacist in West Chester, PA

A specialty compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA, is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist for a 13-week contract to hire assignment. This role focuses on preparing and ensuring the quality of compounded sterile and non-sterile medications while adhering to regulatory standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations in compliance with master formula worksheets.
• Implementing and following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies to maintain patient safety.
• Ensuring adherence to USP standards and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Conducting cleaning and garbing procedures according to company policies.
• Performing calculations and completing necessary documentation.
• Operating production and computerized equipment with precision.
• Utilizing proper aseptic techniques and thoroughly preparing work areas.
• Conducting quality control tests and inspections to guarantee medication quality, purity, and potency.
• Staying updated on new compounding techniques, formulations, and technologies.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development related to compounding pharmacy practices.

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.
• Recent pharmacy experience with sterile compounding expertise.
• Open to new graduates looking to develop their skills in a specialized setting.

Schedule Options:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM (shift may be assigned).
