Inpatient Director of Pharmacy in Ballwin, MO

As the Director of Pharmacy, you will oversee the continued setup of a new pharmacy environment, ensuring smooth medication procurement, packaging, and stocking. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Pharmacy Manager or Director of Pharmacy experience in an inpatient behavioral health facility
• Proven expertise with Pyxis automation systems (required)
• Familiarity or willingness to learn HCS order entry system (training provided)
• Active Missouri pharmacy license
• Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively with C-suite executives and Area Directors of Pharmacy

Location: Ballwin, MO

Responsibilities:

• Lead ongoing pharmacy setup activities including medication procurement and packaging
• Oversee stocking and management of Pyxis systems to ensure efficient access
• Verify medication orders once patients are onsite (no sterile compounding duties)
• Maintain clear communication with executive leadership and area directors
• Provide on-call support on weekends and occasional assistance during setup phases
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with additional on-call responsibilities

Schedule:

• Days, MondayFriday, 8 AM to 4 PM
• Weekend on-call coverage

This contract position spans approximately eight weeks, with a possibility of extension depending on project needs.
