Inpatient Hospital Director of Pharmacy - Brownsburg, IN

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Director of Pharmacy to lead operations within a hospital environment. This contract position, based in Brownsburg, IN, offers a 13-week assignment with a daytime schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, plus on-call duties on Wednesdays.

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• On-call Wednesdays

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy operations and manage staff to ensure efficient workflow
• Participate actively in leadership meetings and operational management
• Supervise sterile compounding processes adhering to safety and quality standards
• Coordinate inpatient pharmacy services supporting a daily census of approximately 30 beds

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven pharmacy management experience, particularly in hospital settings
• Familiarity with hospital inpatient pharmacy operations and pharmacy director duties
• Experience with Meditech order entry system is highly desirable
• Proficiency in sterile compounding practices
• Valid Indiana pharmacy license required
• Open to candidates willing to travel or relocate for the assignment
