Hospital Director of Pharmacy - Dixon, IL

Step into a critical leadership role overseeing pharmacy operations within a community hospital setting. You will ensure seamless pharmacy operations during a temporary leadership absence, guiding a team of 24 pharmacy professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage staffing, workflow, and medication safety initiatives to support optimal patient care.
• Collaborate closely with hospital executives, including the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, to align pharmacy services with organizational goals.
• Maintain operational continuity and uphold high standards during the interim period.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist license (required).
• Proven experience in hospital pharmacy leadership roles.
• Strong skills in operational management, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.
• Ability to drive results and maintain a positive work environment under interim conditions.

Location:

• Position is based in Sterling, Illinois, at a 100-bed community hospital approximately 100 miles west of Chicago.

Contract Details:

• Immediate start preferred (ASAP).
• Duration of 13 weeks or more.
