We are partnering with a respected healthcare organization seeking a seasoned Director of Pharmacy to oversee pharmacy operations and lead a highly visible 340B program within an outpatient care setting.
This role is ideal for a pharmacy leader who combines hands-on knowledge of 340B compliance, FQHC operations, and outpatient pharmacy management with a strategic mindset and a passion for improving patient access to medications.
What You'll Lead
The Director of Pharmacy will oversee all pharmacy services while ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, program integrity, and financial sustainability.
This position will be responsible for:
- Leading enterprise-wide pharmacy strategy
- Directing all aspects of the HRSA 340B program
- Maintaining audit readiness and compliance standards
- Managing outpatient pharmacy operations and personnel
- Driving pharmacy growth and financial performance
- Supporting medication access initiatives for underserved patient populations
- Collaborating with executive leadership on pharmacy and population health strategy
- Building and maintaining successful contract pharmacy relationships
Must-Have Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience working within a 340B clinic environment required
- Minimum 7 years of outpatient pharmacy supervisory or management experience required
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent accredited pharmacy degree
- Strong leadership, operational, financial, and team-development skills
- Experience with HRSA guidelines, FQHC operations, 340B program administration
- Pharmacy compliance and accreditation standards
Preferred Credentials
- BCACP
- 340B University Certification
- 340B ACE Certification
- Pharmacist-in-Charge experience
- Multi-site outpatient pharmacy leadership experience
