Hospital Director of Pharmacy - Katy, TX

Lead pharmacy operations within a community-focused health system as the Director of Pharmacy in a hospital setting. This direct hire role is based in Katy, TX, offering an opportunity to manage and grow pharmacy services in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations including staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage a team consisting of full-time and PRN pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure effective pharmaceutical care delivery aligned with the hospitals standards.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain pharmacy licensure requirements and uphold all applicable laws and standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, active pharmacy license in good standing in the relevant state or willingness to obtain one prior to the start date.
• Disclosure and verification of all active and inactive pharmacist licenses.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in acute care hospital management.
• 35 years hospital pharmacy experience, preferably within an acute care setting.

Schedule:

• Monday Friday: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM 1:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed
• Holidays: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

Team Structure:

• 2 Full-Time Pharmacists
• 2 Full-Time Pharmacy Technicians
• 2 PRN Pharmacists
• 1 PRN Pharmacy Technician
