An opportunity is available for an Interim Director of Pharmacy to oversee the daily operations of a community hospital pharmacy department in Northern Virginia. This role is based in a 100-bed facility with an average daily census of 20 to 40 patients, located conveniently near the DC metro area. The position offers a Monday through Friday day shift schedule, providing a balanced workweek.

Responsibilities include supervising pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing operational workflows, and participating in meetings to align departmental goals with hospital policies. The Director will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of pharmacy services in a hospital setting.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Virginia
• Approximately 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy management experience
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic health records and Omnicell automation systems
