Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all pharmacy operations including clinical, operational, administrative, staffing, and financial aspects.
- Ensure accurate preparation and dispensing of medications while maintaining compliance with The Joint Commission, CMS, and regulatory standards.
- Administer the Adverse Drug Reaction Program and maintain robust quality assurance initiatives related to drug utilization and effectiveness.
- Develop and conduct employee training and clinical education programs.
- Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring and actively promote continuous quality improvement.
- Launch at least one clinically oriented pharmacy program annually (e.g., Pharmacokinetic Dosing Service, Pain Management, Patient Counseling).
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families, fostering a supportive care environment.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and clinical leadership for strategic operational excellence.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacist License in good standing (or willingness to obtain promptly).
- Minimum three years of hospital pharmacy experience within the last five years.
- BLS certification if state-required.
- Educational credentials meeting Oklahoma licensure requirements.
- Pharmacy management or leadership experience preferred.
- PharmD preferred; BS Pharmacy with advanced degree or residency completion considered.
- Board certification and residency training are strong advantages.
