An opportunity is available for an Interim Director of Pharmacy to lead a 60-bed hospital pharmacy department in Juneau, AK. This role requires oversight of all pharmacy operations including personnel management, regulatory compliance, budget control, and purchasing activities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the pharmacy department.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Oversee budgeting and purchasing processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacy staff.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to optimize pharmacy services.

Qualifications:

• Current hospital Director of Pharmacy experience is essential.
• Ability to obtain an Alaska pharmacy license within 3-4 weeks (no law exam required).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, compliance, and budget management.
