Director of Pharmacy Days (8am4pm) | 8Week Contract + Possible Extension
Environment: Behavioral Health New Pharmacy Setup
Contract Length: 8 weeks, with potential extension
Shift: MondayFriday, 8:00am4:00pm + OnCall (weekends only)

RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy to lead and support the launch of a new Behavioral Health pharmacy. This role is ideal for a pharmacy leader who excels in operational setup, crossdepartment communication, and ensuring safe, compliant medication practices in an inpatient behavioral health setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary pharmacy leader, maintaining strong communication with Csuite leadership and the Area Director of Pharmacy (Mark).
• Continue the pharmacy setup process, including procurement, packaging, and medication preparation.
• Stock and manage Pyxis automation systems (experience required).
• Perform order entry using HCS (training provided).
• Complete order verification once patients are onsite.
• Oversee medication management workflows in a nonsterile environment (no sterile compounding required).
• Provide oncall support on weekends; additional onsite help may be needed during initial setup.

Required Qualifications

• Proven pharmacy manager or directorlevel leadership experience.
• Inpatient Behavioral Health experience required.
• Pyxis automation experience required.
• Active Missouri Pharmacist License in good standing.
