Hospital Director of Pharmacy in Spring, TX

An opportunity is available to lead pharmacy operations as the Director of Pharmacy within a county-owned health system anchored by a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital and a 10-bed inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. This role is well-suited for a motivated professional committed to enhancing pharmacy services in a community-focused hospital setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday Friday: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM 1:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed
• Holidays: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations in a hospital environment
• Lead and manage a pharmacy team including full-time and PRN pharmacists and technicians
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain licensure standards
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication management and patient safety
• Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures supporting clinical and operational efficiency
• Monitor pharmacy budgets and supply management

Qualifications:

• Current, active pharmacy license in good standing in Texas or willingness to obtain prior to start date
• Disclosure and verification of all active and inactive pharmacist licenses
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care hospital management experience
• 35 years of hospital pharmacy experience overall
