Hospital Director of Pharmacy - Tulsa, OK

Take on a leadership role overseeing pharmacy operations at a 656-bed hospital with specialized centers in burn treatment, womens health, cancer care, rehabilitation, and cardiology. Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: 8 hours per day, day shift

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and supervise hospital pharmacy activities in compliance with hospital policies, professional standards, and state/federal regulations
• Lead and mentor clinical pharmacists and support staff to ensure quality patient care
• Ensure compliance with JCAHO, DEA, and State Board of Pharmacy requirements
• Manage pharmacy safety, security, infection control, fire, and disaster preparedness procedures
• Set and communicate quality improvement, fiscal, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals
• Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures
• Recruit, train, evaluate, and retain pharmacy personnel while promoting teamwork across disciplines
• Facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration to meet organizational goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school
• Minimum three years hospital pharmacy experience and two years leadership experience
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
• Required certifications or ability to obtain BLS within 14 days of hire
• Preferred: PharmD degree and five or more years of hospital pharmacy experience; ALS/ACLS certification
