Retail Pharmacist - Absecon, NJ

A full-time Staff Pharmacist opportunity is available in Somers Point, NJ, offering a dynamic work environment with a rotating schedule that supports professional growth and patient-centered care.

Location:

• Somers Point, New Jersey

Schedule:

• Rotating weekly schedule including:
  • Monday: 9 AM 5 PM
  • Wednesday: 11 AM 8 PM
  • Thursday: 8 AM 5 PM
  • Friday: 8 AM 5 PM
• Weekend availability required on a rotating basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and patient safety
• Provide thorough patient counseling and medication education to optimize therapeutic outcomes
• Administer immunizations as a certified immunizer
• Oversee pharmacy workflow, collaborating with pharmacy technicians to maintain efficiency
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies and New Jersey regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active New Jersey Pharmacist license in good standing
• Certified Immunizer credentialmandatory
• Strong skills in patient counseling and communication
• Ability to effectively manage a rotating schedule including weekend shifts
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred
