Travel Inpatient Pharmacist | Akron, Ohio

An opportunity is available for experienced inpatient pharmacists to support patient care at hospitals located in North/Central Ohio, positioned conveniently between Cleveland and Columbus. These roles focus on delivering high-quality pharmacy services in either a 25-bed or 40-bed hospital setting using the EPIC system.

Location:

• Travel assignment based in Galion or Ontario, Ohio

Schedule/Hours:

• Shifts starting between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM (flexible)
• Work every 4th weekend

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties requiring detailed attention to medication preparation and distribution
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure adherence to clean room standards
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current Ohio pharmacist license required
• Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation

This travel position offers a 12-week engagement starting as soon as possible, allowing pharmacists to demonstrate their skills in dynamic hospital environments while impacting patient care directly. There is potential for two to three pharmacists to fill these key roles.
