Home Infusion Pharmacist - Alachua, FL

A position is available for a Pharmacist specializing in Home Infusion with an emphasis on pharmacy verification and checking duties. This role is based in Alachua, FL, with a contract-to-hire opportunity starting immediately.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform checking and verification of pharmacy orders related to home infusion.
• Utilize the CareTend system for daily operations.
• Participate in training provided to develop skills related to home infusion pharmacy practices.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and safe medication dispensing.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Must hold an active Florida pharmacist license.
• Experience with home infusion pharmacy is highly preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to training processes in the home infusion environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Familiarity with pharmacy information systems, particularly CareTend, is advantageous.
