Travel Inpatient Pediatric Pharmacist - Albany, New York

Join a dynamic healthcare environment supporting a renowned 1500-bed Level I Trauma Center and specialized Childrens Hospital. This travel pharmacist opportunity offers a unique chance to work in an impactful setting with a focus on inpatient and pediatric care in Albany, NY.

Position Details:

• Start date: November 2
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Rotating shifts including days, evenings, and weekends (five 8-hour shifts per week)

This role requires pharmacists with solid inpatient pharmacy experience who have some exposure to pediatrics and womens health. Depending on your expertise, you will contribute either clinically in specialized units or operationally in the dispensing pharmacytaking on responsibilities such as Pharmacist in Charge or sterile processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical care in pediatric and womens health units
• Manage clinical or operational duties based on experience level
• Oversee medication dispensing and sterile processing when applicable
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy experience
• Completion of PGY1 residency training preferred; alternatively, 23 years of experience without residency accepted
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Flexibility to work mixed shifts including rotating weekends

Licensing:

• Ability to obtain Connecticut Pharmacist license within 710 days required
