Inpatient Pharmacist | Albany, Oregon

A hospital pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist with expertise in inpatient settings. This role focuses on delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care within a hospital environment, ensuring accurate medication dispensing and close collaboration with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Shift Details:

• 7 days on/7 days off rotation
• Night shift hours from 8:00 pm to 6:30 am
• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• EMR system: EPIC

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications according to hospital protocols and prescriptions
• Monitor and manage inpatient medication therapy, ensuring safety and efficacy
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and pharmacy standards
• Utilize EPIC EMR for medication order entry and documentation
• Provide drug information and education to clinical staff as needed

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current, unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist License required at time of application
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred, particularly in inpatient settings
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy practice, drug therapies, and hospital medication protocols
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems
• Ability to work night shifts in a 7-on 7-off rotation with flexibility and reliability
