Travel Hospital Pharmacist - Albion, California

A travel position is available for a Pharmacist in a hospital setting in Ft Bragg, CA, offering a 26-week assignment with day shift hours and on-call responsibilities. This role requires a minimum of one year of pharmacy experience and a California pharmacist license.

Schedule:

• Day Shift: 7 days on, 7 days off (07:30 AM 06:00 PM)
• On-call nights: 06:00 PM 07:30 AM for 6 or 7 nights within a two-week pay period

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Provide consultations to nurses and physicians regarding medications
• Assist with chemotherapy medication handling (experience preferred)
• Utilize IT systems such as EPIC and Omnicell for pharmacy management

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in California
• Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with chemotherapy protocols is a plus
• Experience with EPIC and Omnicell software preferred
• Full-time availability for the assignment duration
