Inpatient Pharmacist | Antioch, Tennessee

A community hospital with 150 beds is seeking an experienced Night Pharmacist to provide critical pharmaceutical care and ensure safe medication practices during night shifts. This role requires effective collaboration with healthcare teams to optimize patient care in an inpatient setting.

Schedule:

• Night shift schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off
• 10-hour shifts

Location:

• Based in Antioch, TN, with service coverage near Gallatin, approximately 30 miles northeast of Nashville, TN
• Contract position with flexibility to travel as needed

Responsibilities:

• Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth pharmacy operations
• Conduct pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring to tailor medication therapy
• Provide consultations and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Tennessee pharmacist license is required
• Proven experience working in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings
• Strong skills in medication order verification and pharmacokinetics
• Ability to lead and supervise pharmacy technicians effectively
• Willingness and flexibility to travel as required
