A small outpatient retail pharmacy located in Apex, NC, is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a per diem role with ongoing coverage needs. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist to supplement their schedule with consistent hours in a supportive setting.

Schedule:

  • Approximately 1 day per week
  • Additional coverage available as needed
  • Ongoing temporary assignment

Responsibilities:

  • Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide patient counseling as needed to ensure optimal medication use
  • Operate within a 340B pharmacy program environment
  • Utilize QS1 and Epic pharmacy systems to manage workflow and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina Pharmacist license required
  • Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings
  • Familiarity with 340B pharmacy programs is preferred; training is available for the right candidate
  • Experience with QS1 and Epic systems is a plus
