Sterile Compounding Pharmacist

 | Home Infusion | 17-Week Contract-to-Hire|


We're hiring a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist for a home infusion pharmacy in Apex, NC. This is a 17-week contract with the opportunity to become a permanent member of the team.

Schedule

Monday-Friday
Rotating shifts between 8:00 AM-6:00 PM
On-call rotation (evenings and weekends)

Responsibilities

Review home infusion referrals and verify clinical appropriateness
Manage new patient starts, refills, medication counseling, and therapy monitoring
Perform sterile compounding and final verification of compounded medications
Ensure compliance with USP standards, documentation, labeling, and lot tracking
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support daily pharmacy operations

Requirements

  • Active North Carolina Pharmacist license
  • Sterile compounding experience required
  • Home infusion experience preferred
