Chemo Pharmacist in Arroyo Grande, CA

A pharmacist position is available on Californias Central Coast, supporting infusion centers within an integrated health system. This role involves preparing IV chemotherapy admixtures and providing pharmaceutical care across multiple pharmacy locations approximately 20 miles apart, in San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria. The schedule is Monday through Friday day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify IV chemotherapy admixtures following established protocols
• Provide pharmaceutical support to oncology and infusion patients
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Manage inventory and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Work efficiently across two pharmacy sites as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid pharmacist license in California
• PGY1 residency or a minimum of 1 year experience in inpatient or infusion pharmacy settings
• Demonstrated experience with chemotherapy dispensing and admixture preparation
• Strong knowledge of oncology pharmaceuticals and protocols
• Ability to work full-time and adapt to multiple pharmacy locations

Location:
Arroyo Grande, CA area, with required travel between San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria clinics

Schedule:

• Monday Friday, day shifts
