Travel Hospital Pharmacist - Ashland, Wisconsin

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 50-bed hospital in Ashland, Wisconsin, with an immediate start and a duration of 13 weeks or more. This position offers a 12-hour day shift schedule on a 7 days on, 7 days off rotation.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing medication orders to assess drug therapy appropriateness, dosage, dosage form, potential therapeutic duplication, and drug interactions
• Providing pharmacokinetic and anticoagulation dosing guidance
• Participating in pharmaceutical care through clinical services such as medication reconciliation and discharge medication education
• Overseeing pharmaceutical compounding with attention to USP 797 and USP 800 regulatory compliance
• Utilizing EPIC for documentation and communication purposes

Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin pharmacy license or eligibility for a Wisconsin temporary license
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices and regulatory standards
• Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems preferred
