Pharmacist in Aston, PA

A home infusion pharmacy is seeking a Production Pharmacist to support safe and accurate preparation, verification, and dispensing of sterile IV medications in a contract role based in Aston, PA.

Location:

• Aston, PA (2540 Market St, Aston, PA 19014)

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 10:00 AM6:00 PM OR 9:30 AM5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders and patient records with accuracy
• Prepare, supervise, and verify sterile IV medications in compliance with safety standards
• Ensure medications, supplies, and equipment are accurate and ready prior to dispensing
• Monitor drug therapy, lab results, and patient outcomes as needed to support clinical care
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient therapy
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure full compliance with pharmacy regulations
• Participate in quality assurance activities and staff training when required

Qualifications:

• RPh or PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy school
• Active pharmacist license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 2 years recent acute-care experience OR 1 year recent home infusion experience
• Solid knowledge of IV therapy and sterile compounding practices
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

This opportunity is a 2-month contract, offering hands-on experience in a dynamic home infusion setting. Business casual or scrubs attire is appropriate for this role.
