Hospital Oncology Pharmacist in Aurora, CO
An outpatient/ambulatory infusion pharmacist opportunity is available on a 13-week contract in Aurora, CO, starting September 28. The shift is 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Review, dispense, and verify orders for hazardous and non-hazardous medications used in oncology and infusion treatments.
- Ensure safe and accurate preparation and distribution of infusion medications to patients.
- Utilize EPIC EMR system to manage medication orders and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care in an ambulatory setting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of infusion pharmacy experience; oncology/chemotherapy experience strongly preferred.
- Current Colorado pharmacist license in good standing.
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Capability to work onsite in Aurora, CO (local candidates preferred).
