Travel Outpatient Retail Pharmacist - Beaverton, OR

A travel opportunity is available for a Pharmacist skilled in retail and outpatient pharmacy practices. This role involves supporting a health system with multiple pharmacy locations within close proximity, providing flexible and dynamic service to patients.

Location: Klamath Falls, OR
Type: Travel assignment, 13 weeks duration
Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM (some Saturdays required)
• Floating between nearby pharmacy sites (within approximately 5 miles)

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying and accurately filling prescriptions
• Overseeing pharmacy technicians to ensure workflow efficiency and compliance
• Counseling patients on prescriptions and over-the-counter medications, ensuring understanding and safety
• Maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical practice to support outpatient and retail pharmacy services

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Oregon pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience in retail or outpatient settings
• Ability to work full-time with flexible scheduling including weekends
• Strong attention to detail and patient-focused communication skills
