Travel Retail Outpatient Pharmacist in Beaverton, OR

This travel pharmacist position offers a unique opportunity to work within retail and outpatient pharmacy settings in the Klamath Falls, OR area. You will be responsible for verifying and filling prescriptions, overseeing pharmacy technicians, and providing counseling to patients regarding prescription and over-the-counter medications. The role involves floating between multiple pharmacy locations within a five-mile radius, ensuring continuity and flexibility in patient care.

Location: Klamath Falls, OR
Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM 7:15 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM 5:15 PM (including some Saturdays)

Duration: 13 weeks (Travel assignment)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions
• Oversee daily activities of pharmacy technicians
• Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential side effects
• Float between multiple retail/outpatient pharmacy locations within ~5 miles

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Oregon pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 1 year of retail/outpatient pharmacy experience
• Availability to work full-time, including Saturdays

• Ability to adapt to floating between nearby sites
