Pharmacist - Bellevue, Nebraska

A 13-week travel opportunity is available for a Night Shift Pharmacist at a 120-bed Level III trauma center in Norfolk, NE. This contract role requires working a 7 on, 7 off schedule from Wednesday evening through Tuesday morning, covering 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts. Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift, 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 7 consecutive days on followed by 7 days off (Wednesday to Tuesday)

Responsibilities:

• Validate medication orders and perform kinetic dosing evaluations
• Conduct medication checks prior to distribution ensuring accuracy and safety
• Respond to nursing staff questions regarding medications
• Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding activities during night hours
• Manage outpatient prescription filling for emergency department patients during the night shift
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians who provide supportive assistance

Qualifications:

• Current Nebraska pharmacist license required
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records (training available if needed)
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during night hours
