IV Certified Pharmacist - Bessemer, AL

This opportunity is for a skilled infusion pharmacist to support a healthcare facility in Bessemer, AL, on a contract basis lasting approximately 6 to 8 weeks. The position requires a dedicated professional to verify and check infusion medications while ensuring safety and accuracy in medication preparation.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Checking and verifying infusion orders and prescriptions
• Ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to support patient care

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Strong TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) experience is mandatory
• Previous infusion pharmacy experience preferred
• Inpatient pharmacist experience with IV/TPN verification is acceptable
• Current and active Alabama pharmacist license in good standing
• Familiarity with the CareTend system preferred
