A Long-Term Care pharmacy in Lehighton, PA, is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for temporary coverage throughout September 2026. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate dispensing and compliance with regulatory standards. Scheduled shifts are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing consistent hours during the assignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness
  • Dispense medications promptly and accurately
  • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and staff to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Maintain patient safety by adhering to regulatory and safety protocols
  • Support additional pharmacist duties as required to meet operational needs

Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Previous pharmacy experience; Long-Term Care pharmacy experience preferred
  • Familiarity with pharmacy systems such as QS1 and DocuTrack is a plus
  • Reliable and available for multiple coverage dates throughout September

Schedule:

  • September 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 23, 24, 25, 28, 30
  • Daily shift: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
