A pharmacy opportunity is available for a Pharmacist specializing in infusion services, specifically focusing on TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) verification and preparation. This position is ideal for pharmacists with a strong background in TPN and IV medication management, seeking a contract role in the Birmingham, AL area.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately checking and verifying TPN and IV medication orders
• Ensuring compliance with pharmacy standards and protocols
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to support patient care
• Utilizing the CareTend system for documentation and order processing

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Alabama pharmacist license in good standing
• Extensive experience with TPN is required
• Previous infusion pharmacy experience preferred
• Inpatient pharmacist experience with IV/TPN verification is acceptable
• Proficient with electronic pharmacy systems, preferably CareTend

Location: Birmingham, AL, with assignment in Hoover.
