Retail Pharmacist | Black Hawk, South Dakota

An experienced Retail Pharmacist is needed for a 13+ week contract assignment at a retail pharmacy inside a grocery store in South Dakota. This role involves providing exceptional pharmaceutical care and supporting the pharmacy team in daily operations, working up to 40 hours per week.

Location: South Dakota
Assignment: 13+ Week Contract
Schedule:

• Up to 40 hours per week
• MondayFriday: 9:00 AM7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Fill and verify prescriptions accurately
• Review and verify pharmacy technician work for quality assurance
• Provide professional patient counseling on medications and health concerns
• Respond to pharmacy and patient phone inquiries promptly
• Assist with daily retail pharmacy operations to ensure smooth workflow
• Support the Pharmacist-in-Charge with additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Active South Dakota Pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered service
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a pharmacy team

Compensation:

• Pay rate starting at $60+ per hour, commensurate with experience
