Remote Pharmacist Idaho License

RPh on the Go is seeking a Pharmacist for a remote contract opportunity with a specialty pharmacy. This position will assist with a volume surge and offers a great opportunity for pharmacists who enjoy both clinical work and patient communication.

Position: Remote Pharmacist
Location: Remote Nationwide
Contract: 6 months
Pay: $57/hr
Start: ASAP

Schedule:
MondayFriday, 8-hour shifts. Candidates may indicate their preferred shift:

8:00am4:00pm EST
9:00am5:00pm EST
10:00am6:00pm EST
11:00am7:00pm EST

The pharmacy will try to accommodate your preferred shift but cannot guarantee it. The hiring manager will discuss scheduling during the interview.

Job Duties:

Provide patient counseling and medication education by phone.
Handle inbound and outbound patient calls regarding prescriptions, refills, side effects, adherence, and medication use.
Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions.
Perform pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a high-volume fulfillment environment.
Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and resolve clinical issues.
Assist with prescription transfers and other pharmacy operations.

Requirements:

Clear and active Idaho Pharmacist license, or willingness to obtain one.
06 years of pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates are welcome.
Retail, specialty, or mail order pharmacy experience preferred.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Must be comfortable conducting daily patient consultations by phone.

Important License Information:
Candidates who do not currently hold an Idaho license may still be considered if they are willing to register for the license ASAP. Idaho does not require a law or MPJE exam to obtain licensure.
