Retail Pharmacist - Box Elder, South Dakota

An opportunity is available for an experienced Retail Pharmacist to join a busy retail pharmacy inside a grocery store setting in South Dakota. This assignment offers a 13+ week contract with a schedule of up to 40 hours per week, allowing you to contribute your skills and expertise in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Schedule:

• MondayFriday: 9:00 AM7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety
• Review and check work performed by pharmacy technicians
• Provide clear, compassionate patient counseling on medication use
• Handle pharmacy and patient phone calls professionally and efficiently
• Assist with daily retail pharmacy operations to maintain smooth workflow
• Support the Pharmacist-in-Charge with additional duties as needed

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active South Dakota Pharmacist license in good standing
• A minimum of 1 year recent experience in retail pharmacy practice
• Strong communication skills with a patient-service orientation
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a pharmacy team

Compensation:

• Starting at $60+/hour, commensurate with experience
