Location: Rapid City, SD
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Schedule:

• 8-hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and process medication orders accurately
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians
• Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapy
• Perform pharmacokinetics assessments ensuring safe and effective dosing
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records and Pyxis for medication dispensing

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in South Dakota (SD license) required
• Experience in hospital or inpatient pharmacy preferred
• Strong understanding of clinical pharmacy practices, including pharmacokinetics
• Ability to work independently within a small surgical hospital setting
• Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
