Per Diem Retail Pharmacist - Brooklyn, NY

A retail pharmacy in Bronx, NY is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to provide temporary coverage from approximately July 27 to August 21. This per diem role involves supporting pharmacy operations with an expected schedule of 3040 hours per week.

Schedule:

• Retail pharmacy hours
• Some evening shifts until 8:00 PM
• Alternating Saturdays required

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and safety
• Counsel patients and answer medication-related questions
• Support daily pharmacy workflow to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain effective service delivery

Qualifications:

• Active New York Pharmacist license in good standing
• Experience in retail pharmacy preferred
• Specialty pharmacy experience is a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Availability for evening shifts and alternating Saturdays
