Mail Order Retail Pharmacist | Brooklyn, New York

This opportunity is tailored for a licensed pharmacist skilled in both mail order and retail pharmacy settings. The role involves delivering expert patient counseling and medication education primarily over the phone, ensuring patients understand their prescriptions, refills, potential side effects, and the importance of medication adherence.

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide proactive patient counseling and education regarding medication use, side effects, and adherence via phone
• Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness, drug interactions, contraindications, and accurate dosing

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Idaho or willingness to obtain an Idaho license
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare providers
• Experience in retail and mail order pharmacy settings is preferred
