Remote Staff Pharmacist 13-Week Contract
Schedule: Choose your preferred shift: 8 AM4 PM, 9 AM5 PM, 10 AM6 PM, or 11 AM7 PM EST. Preferred shift will be considered but is not guaranteed.
About the Opportunity
Join a rapidly expanding digital pharmacy supporting patients with branded medications across specialties including Ophthalmology, Dermatology, and GLP-1 therapies. This remote role is a 50/50 mix of prescription verification (PV1s) and clinical patient consultations, including both inbound and outbound calls.
Responsibilities
Provide medication counseling and education by phone
Clinically verify prescriptions for dosing, interactions, contraindications, and appropriateness
Perform pharmacist verification in a high-volume fulfillment environment
Collaborate with prescribers to resolve prescription issues
Support prescription transfers and patient needs
Requirements
Active Idaho pharmacist license or willingness to obtain one
06 years of pharmacy experience; new graduates welcome
Retail, specialty, or mail-order pharmacy experience preferred
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Hospital clinical pharmacist experience will not be considered
