Hospital Pharmacist in Broomfield, CO

Two pharmacist positions are available at a suburban hospital near Denver, CO, offering an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute their expertise in inpatient and outpatient oncology pharmacy care. These contract roles begin ASAP and extend for 13 weeks or more, providing stability and the chance to work in a dynamic clinical environment utilizing EPIC IT systems.

Position 1: Inpatient Pharmacist

• Work schedule includes variable days and afternoons to support hospital inpatient pharmacy services.

Position 2: Outpatient Oncology Pharmacist

• Focus on outpatient oncology prescriptions and patient care during day shifts.

Location: Suburban Denver, Colorado

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications in accordance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy plans, particularly for oncology patients in the outpatient setting.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records to document and manage patient medication profiles.
• Provide consultation and education to patients and clinical staff on medication use and safety.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current Colorado pharmacist license is required.
• Strong background in hospital pharmacy operations.
• Experience in inpatient settings for Position 1 and outpatient oncology pharmacy for Position 2 highly preferred.
• Proficient in using EPIC or similar electronic health record systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
