Travel Inpatient Pharmacist - Bucyrus, OH

An inpatient pharmacist opportunity is available to support hospital pharmacy operations in North/Central Ohio, serving facilities in Galion and Ontario. These sites provide critical inpatient care with 25 and 40 beds respectively and utilize EPIC for electronic health records. The role requires a licensed Ohio pharmacist with strong clinical and communication skills to ensure quality medication management within a collaborative healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties including medication order verification, dispensing, and monitoring
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee clean room operations
• Collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff to optimize patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy regulations

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio pharmacist license required
• Experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative and responsible approach
• Ability to demonstrate kindness and confidence in patient interactions and team environments

Location:

• Primary work locations are Galion, OH and Ontario, OH hospitals; travel between sites as needed

Schedule:

• Flexible shifts starting between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Must be available to work every 4th weekend

Contract Details:

• Seeking two to three pharmacists
• Contract duration approximately 12 weeks, starting ASAP and ending mid-January
• Travel assignment with flexibility to support multiple hospital sites
