Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify sterile compounded medications and infusions in compliance with safety and quality standards
• Manage outpatient infusion prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient therapy and address medication-related needs
• Maintain thorough documentation within the EPIC system to support patient care continuity
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, including sterile compounding practices

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia Pharmacist license is mandatory
• Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacy experience, including sterile compounding, infusion, or IV room responsibilities
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Schedule and Location:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Position located in Gainesville, GA with the current expectation for local candidates; possible consideration of travelers by the Director of Pharmacy

Assignment Details:

• Contract role with a duration of 6 months; candidates must be available for the entire assignment
