Per Diem Retail Pharmacist | Burlington, North Carolina

An opportunity is available for a retail Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in Greensboro, NC. This per diem position offers immediate coverage needs with the possibility of long-term engagement or permanent full-time placement. Ideal candidates have retail pharmacy experience and an interest in gaining exposure to a home infusion setting.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders for infusion therapies
• Oversee the preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications
• Ensure compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards for sterile compounding
• Provide clinical support and drug information to staff and patients
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain workflow efficiency and patient safety
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory requirements

Schedule:

• Immediate shift needs on April 8, 9, and 10
• Coverage required for a minimum of 2 days during the week of April 27 to May 1
• Additional dates expected, typically a few days each week

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent retail pharmacy experience
• Sterile compounding experience preferred but not mandatory
• Familiarity with USP <797> and <800> guidelines
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities
