Travel Retail Pharmacist | Burnsville, Minnesota

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available in Brainerd, MN, supporting a specialty pharmacy setting for a duration of 13+ weeks. This role demands a dedicated professional to perform long-term care pharmacist duties, ensuring quality pharmaceutical care for patients.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. 5:30 p.m.
• Some weekend shifts required

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a specialty pharmacy environment
• Manage and oversee long-term care pharmacy operations and patient medication regimens
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide immunizations and patient education as needed
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• PharmD degree or MTM (Medication Therapy Management) certification preferred
• Immunization certification required
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in retail pharmacy with a focus on long-term care preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to a travel position and work in various healthcare settings
