Travel Pharmacist - Bushnell, Illinois

Pharmacists with a passion for rural healthcare will find a unique opportunity in a small 25-bed hospital setting in Macomb, Illinois. This travel assignment provides the chance to apply clinical skills in a close-knit hospital environment while gaining valuable experience in hospital pharmacy operations.

Location: Macomb, IL (Rural Illinois)
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks with the possibility of extension
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM or 10:30 AM 7:00 PM
• Potential for weekend rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispense medications accurately within the hospital pharmacy
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and medication therapy management
• Support IV therapy, nutritional support, and pharmacokinetics-related activities
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and state regulations

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent hospital pharmacy experience
• Additional training or strong familiarity with nutritional support, intravenous (IV) therapy, and pharmacokinetics is highly advantageous
• Ability to work independently while being a valuable member of a healthcare team within a small hospital
